Terms and Conditions of Use All Clients (bands/artists/producers) must abide by the terms and conditions imposed in the contract. It is important to understand that the rate quoted for the use of Arrowhead Studio includes the use of one of Arrowhead Studio’s engineers. The Client is free to bring in their own engineer/producer, but the staff of Arrowhead Studio reserves the right to deny access or use of any equipment if we believe the Client’s engineer/producer not to be technically proficient. One of Arrowhead Studio’s house engineers must be present at all sessions. Security of the Client’s equipment shall be the Client’s responsibility while on the grounds of Arrowhead Studio. Arrowhead Studio shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to Client’s equipment. A session deposit is required when booking a session. If the Client is recording over a period of days or weeks, Arrowhead Studio will deduct each session from the Client’s deposit. Once the first deposit is used up, an additional deposit will be needed to continue with the project. Completed Masters of a project will not be released until the Client has completely paid for the project. There are no exceptions. Should it become necessary for the Client to cancel a session, the Client must notify Arrowhead Studio 48 hours in advance at which time Arrowhead Studio will reschedule the Client’s session. Because it is impossible to fill studio time on such short notice, any cancellation with less then 48 hours notice will result in a charge to the Client for the full scheduled session. A two-hour minimum charge is required for any session where the Client is present. A one-hour minimum charge is required for any session where the Client is not present. Arrowhead Studio is not responsible for copyright, royalties, or any claims applicable to any work done in any way for said Client. This is the sole responsibility of the Client. An adult must supervise all young children at all times.
Arrowhead Studio reserves the right to refuse service on any project. There is no smoking allowed anywhere inside Arrowhead Studio. Smoking is allowed outside. Please do not leave matches or butts on the ground as an ashtray is provided. Guests at your session must be kept to a minimum and are not allowed in the Live Room or ISO Room while recording. No food or beverage is allowed in the recording studio area. Please keep all food and beverages in the kitchen. Water is the only exception. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on the property of Arrowhead Studio. The use of drugs or alcohol on the property of Arrowhead Studio is strictly forbidden. Any behavior deemed unprofessional by the house engineer will result in immediate termination of the session and this agreement without refund. The Client is liable for any and all damage resulting from clumsiness or horseplay. Setup time and breaks will be billed at the agreed hourly rate. Please expect several hours to setup your session. Engineers will break for fifteen minutes every two hours to avoid ear fatigue and will take a forty-five minute food break every five hours. Daily backup to Arrowhead Studio hard drive is free. If you wish to have your own backup you will be charged the hourly rate. If the use of the studio for the booking is delayed, postponed, curtailed or cancelled owing to any fault in equipment or for any other reason, Arrowhead Studio shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the customer by reason thereof and the Arrowhead Studio’s liability shall be limited to repayment of the booking fees and charges for any materials supplied by the studio and paid for by the Client (or proportionate part thereof in the case of delay, postponement or curtailment). Arrowhead Studio shall make available the Studio’s equipment for recording and the personnel the company deems necessary to operate such equipment and the Client shall satisfy himself that the studio and the equipment therein is suitable for his purpose and Arrowhead Studio is not responsible for ensuring that its equipment and the facilities provided by the Studio are suitable for the Client purpose. Arrowhead Studio shall be entitled to destroy any material or any recordings in the possession of the Studio after the expiration of six months after the expiration of the booking.
All individuals in the studio are to respond to the direction of the house engineer.
